Dubai: If you’re posting videos or photos of accidents in the United Arab Emirates on your social media pages, then be careful. It can lead you to jail and a fine of up to AED150,000 ($40,800) under the country’s cybercrime law.
The UAE’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued fresh warnings on social media and said the circulation of accident images “is deemed an irresponsible behaviour among citizens. It is also a violation of the law”.
