MUSCAT: On the occasion of World Hand Hygiene Day, the World Health Organisation (WHO), on its official website, has documented the experience of the Sultanate of Oman’s hand hygiene program.
The program was considered as one of the successful examples in the world.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has expressed its appreciation to all cadres in the health sector calling them the heroes of prevention and infection control at the national level.

The ministry has thanked the health institutions in the governorates for the efforts it made to raise the level of prevention and infection control in the Sultanate of Oman.
