MUSCAT: A traffic accident involving a truck and several vehicles has left people injured and caused heavy traffic on Sultan Thuwaini bin Said Road in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Friday.
The collision occurred in the Wadi Bani Rawaha area on the road heading towards Muscat, according to a traffic alert issued by the ROP’s General Directorate of Traffic.
Police did not immediately disclose the number of people injured or provide details about their condition.

The accident has resulted in traffic congestion along the route.
The ROP urged motorists using the road to exercise caution and remain vigilant while approaching the affected area.
