MUSCAT: Two Omani students bagged first place in the Environmental Drawings Competition for 2022 at the international and national level.
Student Ghadeer bint Khamis Al-Buraiki from Khadija Al-Kubra School in the Wilayat of Saham in the North Al Batinah Governorate achieved first place at the international-level of the Environmental Drawings Competition for 2022.
Another student Reem bint Saeed Al Marzouki, from the same school, won first place in the Sultanate of Oman in the same competition.

The theme of this year’s competition was based on ‘the role of blue carbon habitats in reducing the effects of climate change’. The competition was arranged by the Regional Organisation for the Protection of Marine Environment based in Kuwait.
