MUSCAT : In line with its strong commitment to promoting Omani heritage and culture and extending strong support to various sporting, cultural and social events, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, participated in the successful organisation of Al Ahad Al Mashreq Shooting Championship recently. The competition for traditional Omani weaponry was held at the shooting range in Nakhl in the Governorate of South Batinah from 22-26^th March 2022, and saw an excellent turnout of over 1,440 shooters representing the Sultanate’s different governorates. His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, was the chief guest at the event. He handed over prizes to the winners in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, Sheikh Waleed K. Al Hashar, the Chief Executive Officer of Bank Muscat, a number of sheikhs as well as large numbers of fans of traditional sports.
