MUSCAT: The Omran Group, on Tuesday, reviewed the investment opportunities for tourist sites in the North Sharqiyah Governorate.
His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah, with Eng. Mohammed bin Salem Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Omran Group, met in the office of the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah in the Wilayat of Ibra.
The company’s specialists and a number of stakeholders in the Municipality of North Al Sharqiyah and the Department of Tourism and Heritage in the governorate were also present at the meeting.

Dr. Hashel bin Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of Omran Group, said, “The meeting comes as part of the group’s program in a visit to the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman and to meet with their Excellencies the governors and those concerned with the governorate. The aim is to discuss cooperation and partnership in developing the tourism sector and promoting related sectors, in addition to discussing the proposed mechanisms for investing some sites. They also discussed tourist sites in the governorate.
The meeting also reviewed the most important pillars pursued by the Omran Group in order to develop the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to reviewing the most important development enhancers in various sectors related to the tourism sector that support the development of tourism.
