MUSCAT: The IRONMAN 70.3 Oman has commenced on Friday, February 25 at 6 am at Shatti Al Qurum. The competition is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and the organisation of the Middle East Foundation for the Modern Triathlon.
A total of 1,000 participants from 54 countries have signed up to compete in the first edition of Oman’s Ironman 70.3, which kicked-off in Muscat earlier this morning. The competition includes three races: swimming for 1.9km, cycling for 90km, and running for 21.1km.
The event also included Iron Kids Race set according to the specific age groups. The Iron Women’s Race was held for a distance of 6 km. Both the races were held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Shatti Al Qurum.
