MUSCAT: Omani medical team at the Armed Forces Hospital has successfully performed spinal stabilisation surgery for a 52-year-old citizen using augmented reality.
In a statement issued, Oman News Agency said the surgery using augmented reality is being done for the first time. “An Omani medical team from the Armed Forces Hospital successfully performed a spinal stabilisation surgery using augmented reality technology, for a 52-year-old citizen,” ONA said.
