MUSCAT: Oman’s Ministry of Health has halved the minimum gap for receiving Covid booster jabs from six months to three, starting from Tuesday, December 21.
The decision comes after the Supreme Committee allowed those from the age of 18 and above to get the third dose. It will help to speed up the programme to limit the spread of the Omicron variant.
“The Ministry of Health announces reducing the time period for the booster dose from 6 months to 3 from the date of receiving the second dose, starting tomorrow,” MOH said in the statement.
