MUSCAT: Starting from Monday, Oman will begin the booster dose (third dose) of COVID-19 vaccine to those aged 18 and above, Ministry of Health said.
In a statement issued, MOH said the third dose will be given to those who have completed six months since receiving the second dose.
On Sunday, the Supreme Committee allowed the Ministry of Health to vaccinate those aged 18 and above with the third dose. According to reports 93% of the target population received one dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
