MUSCAT: US embassy has expressed solidarity with the government and people of Oman as it was struck by Cyclone Shaheen.
In a statement issued by US Embassy said:
“The American people stand with the Government and people of the Sultanate of Oman as they recover from the impact of Tropical Cyclone Shaheen.”

Cyclone Shaheen claimed 12 lives, while more than 700 people were rescued.
