MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Monday said it will extend suspension of classes until October 10, following heavy rainfall in Oman.
Due to cyclone Shaheen, SQU had suspended classes on October 3 and 4, however, the university has now extended the holiday.
“In the interest of the safety and protection of all and taking into account the circumstances of those affected by the tropical cyclone Shaheen, the administration of Sultan Qaboos University decided to continue suspending classes and will now to resume on Sunday, October 10, 2021,” the statement added.
