MUSCAT: The night lockdown in the country is still in effect, the Government Communication Centre (GC) clarified on Thursday.
In a statement issued GC said the Supreme Committee did not make any new statement on the night lockdown. “There is no truth to what is being circulated about the issuance of a new statement by the Supreme Committee acknowledging the end of the ban on the movement of individuals and vehicles,” GC said.
The Supreme Committee has imposed a night lockdown between 10 pm to 5 am daily until further notice.
