MUSCAT : Oman’s Ministry of Health has clarified a recruitment notice for nutrition technicians following discussion on social media, saying the inclusion of applicants’ names and civil numbers is a standard procedure used by national institutions.
In a statement, the ministry said the practice was intended to ensure transparency, promote fair competition for jobs and safeguard the rights of all applicants.
The clarification followed social media discussion about an announcement setting out dates for interviews for nutrition technician positions.

The ministry thanked members of the public for following its announcements and procedures and for sharing their views, saying their feedback was valued.
