MUSCAT: An expatriate employee who allegedly stole jewellery from the store he worked was arrested at the Muscat International Airport while trying to flee the country, police said.
In a statement issued on Monday, Royal Oman Police (ROP) without revealing the nationality of the person said he stole money and jewellery from the store. “An expat was arrested on charges of breach of trust after he stole jewellery and sums of money from the store he worked and was caught while trying to leave the Sultanate via Muscat International Airport to his country with possession of the money and jewellery. The case is under process,” ROP said in a statement on Monday.
