MUSCAT: Over 270 patients are admitted in intensive care units (ICU) in various hospitals, as the number of coronavirus cases in Oman has increased significantly in the last three days.
According to a data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, April 25, a total of 818 patients have been admitted in various hospitals of which 272 are currently in ICU. 95 patients are admitted in hospitals in the last 24 hours, the data shows.
Oman on Sunday registered 3,538 new infections in the last 72 hours, while 35 people died since Thursday. The total COVID-19 cases touched 188,816, while total death cases touched 1,977.
