MUSCAT: The Indian government on Wednesday announced cancellation of CBSE board exams.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of rising cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said the government has cancelled Class 10 exams, while it has postponed Class 12 exams. The exams were originally scheduled for May and June. The new dates for Class 12 exams will be announced after June 1.
