MUSCAT: More than 100 patients have been reportedly admitted in various hospitals in the country in the last 24 hours as the number of COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly.
In the last 72 hours, the Ministry of Health registered 3,544 cases including 29 deaths, taking the cumulative cases to 171,549. According to the data provided by MOH shows 105 hospital admissions in 24 hours, taking the total hospitalised cases to 733, including 229 patients in intensive care units. The total deaths touched 1776.
Meanwhile, the MOH has urged both citizens and residents to adhere to wearing face mask and maintaining social and physical distance.
