DUBAI: For the first time, the United Arab Emirates has introduced a new remote work visa which will allow employees from all over the world to live and work in the country for one year.
According to the information received, professionals can reside in the UAE even as they are employed anywhere in the world and connect to work remotely. The remote work visa will not require local sponsorship.
The remote work visa was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The government also announced a series of steps including enabling a multiple-entry tourist visa for all nationalities.
