MUSCAT: Oman on Wednesday extended the exit scheme for expats with expired work permits to leave the country permanently until June 30, 2021.
In a statement, the Ministry of Labour urged expatriates to register before June 30. This is the fourth time, the Ministry is extending the exit scheme. The deadline was supposed to end on March 31.
“The Ministry of Labour announces the extension of work with expat workers recruitment licenses expiring on March 31, 2021, until June 30, 2021,” the statement from Ministry of Labour added.
