MUSCAT: An expat worker has died after rocks collapsed on him while working at a construction site in Northern Sharqiyah, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance announced.
According to authorities, the “Asian” expat was undergoing construction work at Al Zaam falaj in wilayat Dima Wa Al Tayeen.
In a statement, PACDA said:” The search and rescue team at the authority responded to a report of rocks collapsing on an Asian worker while who was undergoing construction work in Al Zaam Falaj in the Ismailia area of wilayat Dima Wa Al Tayeen in Nothern Sharqiyah.”

”He was exhumed from the rubble, already deceased, ” added PACDA.
