MUSCAT: All private and government schools in Muscat will be closed on Sunday, the Ministry of Education announced on its social media accounts.
The decision was taken in view of the weather conditions prevailing across the country. However, schools in Dhofar and Al Wusta region will be functioning on Sunday.
“After coordinating with the Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre, the Ministry of Education would like to announce schooling in private and government schools will be suspended throughout the governorates of the Sultanate with the exception of Dhofar and Al Wusta on April 14, 2019,” the statement from Ministry said.
