MUSCAT: The Christmas season is setting in and Al Falaj Hotel Muscat wanted to bring a sense of warmth and seasonal cheer. On the 06th Of December 2020 as tradition the Al Falaj Hotel Muscat hosted their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
The Christmas tree lighting ceremony was a tradition much older than the arrival of electricity as families would light candles to welcome the festive season with warmth.
Al Falaj Hotel together with staff and guests of the hotel got together, following all the necessary safety protocols, and celebrated the lighting of the Christmas tree with the singing of Christmas carols. The event is a reminder that it is time to leave the past behind and move forward keeping in mind the safety protocols.

The ceremony was graced by the Mr. Anslem Perera Director of Aitken Spence Resorts Middle East LLC & family together with Mr. Srinith De Silva C.E.O of Aitken Spence Hotels Middle East, Mr. Praveen George, General Manager of Al Falaj Hotel.
Al Falaj Hotel Muscat, also has a slew of seasonal festivities planned for this season. The Stassen Tea Lounge which is famous for its pure Ceylon tea will have its “Festive High Tea” daily together with a special treat for kids called “Santa’s Ice Cream”. The famous Japanese restaurant the Tokyo Taro will be hosting a special 5 course set menu lunch on Christmas day.
