MUSCAT: Units of the Royal Army of Oman carried out the Oman-US exercise ‘Sea Soldier’ with the support of the Royal Air Force of Oman and participation of the US Marines.
The Omani Royal Army was represented by the Southern Infantry Brigade (11) Battalion, which held exercises with the US Marine Infantry Battalion (22).
The joint exercises took place in the army’s fields in Rabkoot.

The training course was designed to raise the performance and morale of the participants.
The result of the exercise reflected the characteristics of the members of the Royal Army of Oman, their competence, capacity for training and qualification levels.
