MUSCAT:A few number of expatriate workers have started a sit in protest in front of their company office today in Wadi Kabir.
Some 600 workers belonging to the company in different camps are in trouble for the last few months as the company failed to pay them the wages.
The Embassy is in constant touch with both Omani Authorities as well as the affected Indian workers.

The workers in different camps are reportedly facing food and drinking water shortage.
The workers belong to different Asian countries, including from India.
Last week, the Indian embassy had tweeted that “The Embassy is in constant touch with both Omani Authorities as well as the affected Indian workers. Embassy officials have visited both the camps – Ghala and Jifnain where workers are staying.”
According to sources, social organizations are providing food and drinking water for the workers.
