MUSCAT: Musandam Governorate will host 75 tourism, cultural, sports and entertainment events as part of the Musandam Winter Season 2026–2027, aimed at attracting visitors, supporting local businesses and boosting economic activity across the governorate.
The season’s programme will feature several major events, including the Musandam Carnival, Strait of Hormuz Festival, Musandam Cultural Days, Kumzar Festival, Bukha Lights Festival and Communities Sports Championship.
The annual season serves as an important platform for supporting local communities and increasing economic returns by empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), promoting Omani products, showcasing traditional crafts and supporting local projects.
The programme is designed to offer visitors a range of experiences set against Musandam’s distinctive natural landscape, including its marine fjords and mountains, combining adventure and entertainment with the governorate’s cultural heritage.
This year’s edition will also create opportunities for entrepreneurs, SMEs and local communities through activities and initiatives across the governorate’s wilayats, contributing to tourism growth and local development.
