MUSCAT: In a travel advisory issued on October 13, the ministry said eligible travellers can apply through the official Philippine e-visa portal at https://evisa.gov.ph.
Holders of a valid e-visa can present it upon arrival in either digital or printed form. The visa will not be affixed to the passport as a physical sticker.
The ministry noted that the e-visa operates in conjunction with the machine-readable visa sticker for individual Category 9 visas issued to temporary visitors, as well as other applicable Philippine visa categories.
The e-visa cannot be converted into another type of Philippine visa, and the period of stay granted under it cannot be extended.
Omani citizens planning to visit the Philippines have also been advised to ensure their passports remain valid for at least six months from their date of entry and to obtain health insurance covering the duration of their stay.
