MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates, held talks on Wednesday focusing on developments in the region and efforts to reduce tensions.
During the meeting at Al Baraka Palace, the two sides exchanged views on rapidly evolving regional developments and discussed efforts aimed at promoting de-escalation through balanced diplomatic channels, according to the Oman News Agency.
The discussions underscored the importance of intensifying coordination and consultations in ways that safeguard the interests and security of countries across the region.
