MUSCAT : TAS Media Group, the media company behind one of the GCC’s leading digital news platforms, has announced the expansion of its operations into India with the launch of a new office for TAS Media Network, marking a significant new chapter in the Group’s growth.
The India expansion will strengthen the Group’s presence across digital media, publishing, technology, creative services and events, while creating new opportunities to connect businesses, brands and audiences between India and the Gulf region.
Operating from Kochi in Kerala, TAS Media Network will bring together a growing portfolio of media and digital brands, including The Kerala Stories, IndiQ, a digital business, fashion and lifestyle publication; ThinkLabs, the Group’s digital solutions and innovation arm; and Filmization, its entertainment and film media platform.

TAS Media Network will also have a dedicated events division focused on developing conferences, business forums, awards, industry gatherings and other experiential platforms in India.
The expansion builds on TAS Media Group’s experience in the GCC, led by its flagship digital news platform The Arabian Stories, which has developed a strong presence in the region with coverage spanning news, business, current affairs, lifestyle and community stories.
“Nations and markets are more connected than ever before, and we see tremendous opportunities to build stronger media, business and cultural bridges between India and the Gulf,” said Nishad Padiyarath, Chief Executive Officer of TAS Media Group.
“The launch of TAS Media Network in India is not simply about entering a new market. It is about taking everything we have learned and built over the years and creating a new ecosystem that brings together media, technology, creativity and experiences under one platform,” he said.
“Through our media brands, digital solutions and events, we want to create meaningful content, build powerful platforms and open up new opportunities for businesses, creators and communities.”
Nishad said the Group intends to progressively expand its India operations and develop platforms across business, entrepreneurship, lifestyle, entertainment, technology and thought leadership.
India will also serve as an important base for TAS Media Group as it looks to further strengthen the connection between its operations and audiences in India and the GCC.
“We have always believed in the power of stories, ideas and relationships to bring people and markets closer. India is a strategic part of our future, and we are excited about what we can build from here,” Nishad said.
