MUSCAT : The luxury fashion market is shifting as GenZ and Millennials start to use resale as part of their shopping process. New research from Boston Consulting Group and Vestiaire Collective showed that about 80% of GenZ consumers had bought or found a brand by shopping secondhand. This shows how much resale is influencing customers.

This trend shows that opinions about luxury are changing. Younger shoppers like the prices, the special items, and the better environmental impact of buying used clothes. As resale sites keep getting bigger, shopping secondhand is not a choice; it’s a way to buy new. It is becoming a way for the next generation to experience luxury fashion.
