Launched in 2003–04, KIP is an engagement initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening the connection between young members of the Indian diaspora and their ancestral homeland. The programme also seeks to encourage diaspora youth to participate in India’s developmental journey and contribute to the country’s progress.
For applicants in Oman, the Embassy said the programme guidelines and application form are available through its official channels. Completed applications can be submitted to edu.muscat@mea.gov.in.
