Labour Ministry outlines steps to start private training business in Oman

The Ministry of Labour has outlined the steps investors must follow to establish and operate a private training business in Oman, from submitting a licence application to obtaining approval and starting operations.

MUSCAT – According to the ministry, applicants must first submit a licence application through the Oman Business Platform and complete the required documents and technical specifications.
The application will then be reviewed by the Directorate General of Private Training Institutions. Once the application and training programmes receive the necessary approval, the applicant can obtain the licence and commence the activity.
The ministry encouraged prospective investors to follow the required procedures, describing the licensing process as the first step towards establishing a private training project in Oman.

  2. Complete the required documents and technical specifications.
  3. Application review: The Directorate General of Private Training Institutions reviews the application.
