MUSCAT – Under the new policy, passengers will be required to pay fares exclusively through approved electronic payment methods when travelling on Mwasalat’s city bus network in the two cities.
The company said the move is aimed at providing a faster and more convenient travel experience while supporting the adoption of digital payment solutions across its public transport services.
Mwasalat urged passengers to ensure they have access to the approved electronic payment options before boarding buses once the new system comes into effect.
