Muscat: His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, reviewed numerous Muscat Municipality projects. Furthermore its plans related to advancing infrastructure and enhancing municipal services. The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies members of the Shura Council, members of the Municipal Council, and heads of several government entities.
Muscat Municipality in Seeb delivered a presentation on several achieved and ongoing projects. They include developing street lighting of internal roads, constructing pedestrian walkways, and establishing parks and public facilities within residential neighbourhoods.
The presentation highlighted the importance of strengthening connectivity between residential areas through advancing the internal road network, contributing to smoother traffic movement and improved traffic flow. Additionally, a proposal to allocate suitable locations for street vendors in several areas was discussed, to organise activities and provide an appropriate environment for their function.

This presentation covered the Seeb Lake Development Project in Wadi Al Buhayis Village, as well as the project to accomplish developing the remaining section of the Seeb Waterfront up to the Dama Street Roundabout. These projects are expected to enhance public amenities and boost the urban and service landscape.
His Excellency the Wali of Seeb emphasised the importance of continuing coordination and integration between Muscat Municipality and the various relevant entities. Such cooperation contributes to monitoring the citizens’ needs, identifying priority projects and services, and supporting efforts aimed at advancing public facilities and enhancing the quality of services provided.
