MUSCAT: Of the total requests, more than 85,000 were complaints, around 90,000 were reports, over 16,000 were suggestions, and more than 43,000 were inquiries, according to data presented during the ‘Second Response and Integration’ meeting hosted by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
The meeting brought together more than 300 employees representing central and executive teams, as well as communication and media teams from government entities using the platform, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional integration and improve beneficiary engagement.
The gathering focused on operational performance indicators, processing quality, and adherence to approved methodologies, in addition to reviewing success stories and service improvements implemented through the platform to enhance response efficiency and inter-agency coordination.

During the session, government entities showcased experiences in improving service delivery through the platform, including the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology’s efforts to enhance operational integration, and the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources’ work in accelerating response times and improving follow-up procedures.
Participants also discussed development opportunities aimed at improving operational efficiency, standardising procedures, and leveraging data and performance indicators to support decision-making across government institutions.
The meeting also pointed out that the feedback through ‘Tajawob’ has contributed to a range of improvements and initiatives across sectors. These include the installation of road safety barriers on Sultan Thuwaini bin Said Road by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and the issuance of regulations governing the operations of foreign vessels and marine units in Omani territorial waters.
In Al Sharqiyah North Governorate, infrastructure and public facility upgrades were carried out in response to community input, while the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism introduced electric vehicle charging points at hotel parking areas to support sustainable transport.
In the SME sector, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority launched the ‘Ready Factories’ initiative and a Local Value-Added Day to strengthen entrepreneurship and national participation in supply chains.
The meeting also highlighted legislative and social developments, including enhanced benefits for persons with disabilities under the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, aimed at strengthening inclusion and social participation.
The meeting reaffirmed continued efforts by government institutions to enhance integration, coordination, and responsiveness in public service delivery, in line with Oman’s digital transformation and government performance improvement goals.
