MUSCAT — Police in Oman’s South Al Sharqiyah Governorate have arrested five citizens for vandalising medical equipment at a health centre and sharing a video of the act on social media, authorities said.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the individuals were detained for damaging and tampering with medical tools at the Ras Al Hadd Health Centre, in an incident that also involved filming and publishing a video clip online.
According to the ROP, the footage showed the suspects misusing equipment designated for patient care, prompting swift action by authorities.
