MUSCAT : His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held a series of phone consultations with international counterparts and officials in neighbouring and friendly countries to discuss ongoing regional developments and explore diplomatic solutions.
The discussions focused on containing conflicts in the region, coordinating efforts to de-escalate tensions, and addressing outstanding political and security issues. The communications reflect Oman’s ongoing commitment to diplomacy and regional stability.
Among the officials contacted were: Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein; Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud; the Netherlands’ Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen; Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maximilian Brezzo; Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan; Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiar Saidov; Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide; France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot; Austria’s Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger; Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf; the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas; Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi; South Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Hyun; Panama’s Deputy Minister Carlos Arturo Hoyos; and Olivier Jean-Patrick Ndoho Tigre, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
