MUSCAT – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call from Mark Carney during which the two leaders discussed the latest developments related to the ongoing military escalation in the region and its implications for regional and global stability.
During the call, the leaders reviewed the growing tensions and the potential repercussions on the security and stability of countries across the region. Both sides expressed concern over the escalating situation and the risks it poses to peace and international security.
They emphasised the importance of adhering to the principles of international law and underscored the urgent need to halt the ongoing conflict. The two leaders also stressed the necessity of returning to dialogue and diplomatic channels to address the underlying causes of the crisis.
