CUPERTINO : Apple announced a series of new low-cost devices, including a more affordable iPhone and an entry-level MacBook, as part of a week of major product announcements.
The launch is aimed at attracting a broader segment of consumers looking for the Apple ecosystem at a lower price point while maintaining the company’s design and performance standards.
CEO Tim Cook said the new devices are designed to make Apple’s technology available to a wider range of users, particularly in emerging markets where demand for premium devices remains strong but is more price sensitive.
