CALIFORNIA : Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a new pocket-sized artificial intelligence device called Meta Charm, marking the company’s latest move to explore how consumers could interact with technology beyond smartphones.
Unveiled at Meta Connect in Menlo Park, California, the Meta Charm features a touchscreen measuring roughly two inches and built-in 5G connectivity. The device is about the size of an Apple AirPods case and is designed to provide quick access to Meta’s newly launched Muse AI assistant.
Zuckerberg said the company had packed the wider Muse experience, including real-time voice and avatar capabilities, into a device compact enough to fit on a keychain and remain readily available for conversation.

Meta said the Charm will be ready to ship in December 2026, in time for the holiday season. The company, however, has not yet announced its price.
The launch expands Meta’s hardware portfolio beyond its smart glasses and comes as major Silicon Valley companies invest heavily in AI-powered devices capable of seeing, hearing and responding to users and their surroundings.
