MUSCAT – Omani authorities said two drones were shot down over the skies of Dhofar governorate on Tuesday, while a third drone fell near the vicinity of Salalah Port, according to state television.
An official security source, cited by Oman TV, said the incidents did not result in any human or material losses.
The development marks the second drone-related incident reported in Oman on Tuesday, following an earlier attack near Duqm Commercial Port, underscoring heightened security concerns amid escalating regional tensions.

Oman condemned the targeting operations and reaffirmed its commitment to taking all necessary measures to safeguard the country’s security and stability, the report added.
Authorities said they are closely monitoring the situation and will take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of citizens and infrastructure.
