His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Al Rawas stated that the Chamber places great importance on strengthening economic partnerships with the United States, stemming from the deep historical relations between the two friendly nations and the genuine opportunities they offer for expanding private sector cooperation and opening new horizons for joint investment in strategic sectors. He added that the Chamber benefits in this regard from the framework of the Free Trade Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States, which contributes to encouraging bilateral investments.

He further emphasised that the Chamber is working to enhance trade and economic relations with the United States by organising and receiving mutual trade delegations, hosting economic forums and business meetings, and leveraging the Oman Commercial Office in the United States to connect the Omani business community with its American counterparts by facilitating direct communication, and building partnerships. He noted that this meeting represents an important opportunity to strengthen engagement among business leaders and explore cooperation in manufacturing, technology, and innovation, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which is aimed at diversifying income sources and enhancing the role of the private sector in sustainable economic development.

He explained that the delegation targets two vital sectors: food security and agricultural industries, in addition to advanced technology sectors such as semiconductors and cybersecurity. He affirmed that bilateral meetings between Omani and American companies represent an important step in strengthening economic and trade relations and opening new avenues of cooperation across various investment fields.

Al Nahari also noted that the US market is among the largest and most important global markets, offering promising opportunities for Omani companies to expand and enter into international partnerships, stressing the importance of participating in specialised industrial exhibitions and conferences that bring together American companies on one platform to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise.
Amy Hahn, Director of the Oman Commercial Office in the United States, stated that trade relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States continue to grow steadily, and that the Office serves as a key platform to support this cooperation and strengthen communication between the business communities of both countries. She added that the Office contributes to facilitate investment opportunities, exchange commercial information, and link Omani companies with their American counterparts to open direct channels for cooperation and partnership across various economic sectors.
She confirmed that organising trade delegations and hosting economic meetings and bilateral forums constitutes a core part of the Office’s role, enhancing the ability of Omani institutions to enter new markets, transfer expertise and modern technologies, and establish strategic partnerships that support sustainable economic growth.

Jeff Zimmerman, Agricultural Counsellor at the Office of Agricultural Affairs at the US Consulate General, stated that bilateral relations between Oman and the United States are witnessing growing development, supported by the Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries, which has contributed to strengthening trade exchange and opening broader horizons for economic cooperation.
