MUSCAT — Oman’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to review bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across areas of mutual interest, Oman’s Foreign Ministry said.
During the call, the two ministers discussed prospects for expanding collaboration in a manner that serves shared interests and enhances consultation and political coordination between the two countries.
They also exchanged views on current regional developments, underscoring the need to continue efforts that prioritise dialogue and diplomacy as pathways to de-escalation and the containment of tensions, the statement said.
