MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has appointed His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef as the Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, according to a royal decree issued on Monday.
Al Yousef previously served as Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, a role in which he played a central part in advancing the Sultanate’s economic diversification agenda, improving the business environment and promoting foreign direct investment.
