MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has appointed Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi as Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, according to a royal decree issued on Monday.
Al Busaidi previously served as Governor of Muscat, where he oversaw major urban development initiatives, cultural programmes and public services in the capital.
The appointment comes as part of a broader cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance, accelerating development priorities and aligning ministerial leadership with Oman Vision 2040 objectives.
