MUSCAT : The ministry has urged citizens and residents in Oman to avoid using any products suspected to be included in the recall and to carefully check batch numbers listed in the official notice (https://moh.gov.om/en/media-center/news/recall-of-certain-nestle-infant-formula-products/).
The Ministry also confirmed that no illnesses in connection with the products involved have been reported up to the time of issuing this notice, and it recommends the safe disposal of any suspected products.
Should any symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, or abdominal pain occur, individuals are advised to seek medical attention immediately at the nearest healthcare facility.
The Ministry of Health further affirmed that it has taken all necessary measures, in coordination with the relevant authorities and the concerned company, to ensure the withdrawal of these products from Omani markets and to follow up on the implementation of this action, in order to protect public health and safety.
