MUSCAT : Oman created 51,482 jobs in 2025, exceeding its annual employment and training target and achieving 114% of the planned outcome, the Ministry of Labour said on Tuesday.
In a statement carried by the Oman News Agency, the ministry said the result surpassed the annual target of 45,000 employment and training opportunities, reflecting coordinated national efforts to strengthen the labour market and support Omani jobseekers.
The ministry said the performance highlights effective integration between the public and private sectors in implementing labour market policies aimed at empowering national talent. Key initiatives included localisation programmes, job-linked training schemes and measures to enhance the skills and employability of jobseekers.
