Muscat: According to the ROP, the accident occurred after the Izki Governorate bridge on the stretch heading towards Nizwa Governorate. The truck reportedly suffered mechanical deterioration, disrupting the normal flow of traffic on the main road.
As a precautionary measure and to ensure road safety, traffic has been diverted to the internal Izki–Barqa Al Mawz road until authorities complete handling the incident and clear the affected area.
