Officials have indicated that the agreement is expected to be signed during Prime Minister Modi’s visit, marking a major step toward boosting bilateral trade, investment flows and economic cooperation between the two countries.
India is one of Oman’s largest trading partners, while the Sultanate hosts a large Indian expatriate community and plays a strategic role in India’s engagement with the Gulf region. The visit is also expected to reinforce cooperation in logistics, manufacturing, tourism, renewable energy and technology.
