MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 102/2025 approving an agreement between the Government of Oman and several institutions within the World Bank Group, Oman News Agency reported on Sunday.
The decree ratifies an accord signed with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the International Development Association (IDA), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), enabling them to establish a representative office in the Sultanate.
According to the statement, the agreement is intended to strengthen cooperation in development financing, investment support and economic programmes aligned with Oman’s long-term national priorities.
